Candidate Privacy Notice
1. Who decides how your information is used?
In a recruitment process, the employer, recruitment agency or ELA customer will generally determine why candidate information is collected and used. ELA’s role may be that of a service provider processing information on a customer’s instructions. The exact role must be assessed for each service and arrangement.
2. Information that may be processed
This can include contact information, CV and work history, education, skills, qualifications, employment preferences, communications, application progress and information voluntarily supplied during recruitment. Sensitive or special-category information should not be collected unless there is a lawful and necessary basis.
3. Purposes
Candidate information may be used to assess suitability for roles, manage applications, communicate about recruitment, maintain recruitment records, prevent duplicate records and meet applicable legal obligations.
4. Sources and disclosure
Information may come directly from candidates, recruiters, customer organisations, publicly available professional profiles or other sources disclosed by the responsible organisation. Access should be limited to authorised users with a recruitment-related need.
5. Retention, rights and questions
Retention periods depend on the responsible organisation’s documented policy and applicable law. To access, correct or request deletion of your data, contact the recruiter or organisation that collected it, or write to privacy contact details to be published before accepting personal information. Requests may be subject to legal limits.
6. Controller details
ELA is a product brand being prepared for launch. Its operating legal entity, registered address and dedicated privacy contact have not yet been established. Do not submit candidate records to this marketing website. The responsible entity and contact details will be published before ELA accepts candidate data.
